My name is Jessica and I am a personal trainer, living and working in Teddington. I previously held my own private studio in central London, but I no longer wanted the commute and now train people in my home in Teddington. I think it’s important to place a high value on your own health and happiness, so, the commute had to go. I believe in working hard while fuelling my mind and body right. Do I have “Insta Abs”? No. Would I starve myself to get them? No. My overall health is always my top priority.
I’m passionate about health and fitness for life. I don’t train people for any level of extreme. I’m not the right trainer for you if you want to run a marathon or compete in a fitness competition. My sole focus is to help people achieve an all-around healthy and fit body. A body they like the look and feel of. A body that allows them to live the life they want, day in and day out. I want to live a long, active life and I want to help other people do that too.
During your first session, we will go through a basic fitness test, to gauge your current levels. The test is a workout in itself. Plus we will go through a few extra bits, so I can assess your likes, dislikes and areas that need extra attention. We can also have a chat about your goals and focus. I go against the trend when it comes to tracking numbers. I’m not a big fan of it at all. I prefer to base progress on how you feel, that your clothes fit better, that you have more energy. However, I do carry my trusted tape measure, so we can take a few measurements if you would prefer.
I then take everything away from this first session and come up with our session plan designed around you. All clients start out on full-body sessions, however, some twice a week clients then move into splitting upper and lower body over the two sessions. Sessions are adapted as you progress to keep improving your fitness and to stop them from getting dull. Sessions are approximately 55 minutes, including warm-up and cool down.
I have worked around injuries before but would require you to have seen a medical professional and been given the okay to train. Certain injuries require a trainer with specialist knowledge, so please disclose all information at the time of booking.
I offer a very simple pricing system.
A one to one session is £45. The first session is paid in cash on the day and then in monthly blocks by bank transfer, before the end of the previous month.

Cancellation is 48 hours to move a session or 7 days from the end of the month to cancel completely and stop training.
